Despite starting off the track with lyrics, “I’m Vanilla Baby,” as it continues on, Harlow proves he’s anything but — not that we needed reminding.

The whip-smart, fast-talking OZ, Nik D and Sean Mombergertrack produced track arrived alongside an Aidan Cullen directed music video. “I don’t like no whips and chains / Baby, you can’t tie me down / But you can whip your loving on me, baby / Whip your loving on me, baby,” Jack raps on the hook while vibing with friends and a handful of ladies. Also making various outfit changes and playing around with his new pup.

A day ahead of dropping the track, Jack took to IG to thank his fans and fill them in on what he’s been up to, “Thank u for allowing me to reset this year. I moved back to Kentucky and gave u an album I could not have made on the road. Surrounded by family & childhood friends this has been one of the happiest years of my life. But now… a new era begins. Lovin On Me at midnight EST,” he captioned the post.

As the track continues on, the lyrics give clues as to what Jack means about “a new era,” and possibility of taking this upcoming album of his on the road.

“All the girls in the front row, ayy / All the girls in the barricade, ayy / All the girls that been waitin' all day, let your tongue hang out / F*** everything, ayy / If you came with a man (Yeah, yeah) / Let go of his hand (Let go of this s***) / Everybody in the suite, kickin' up they feet / Stand up, b****, dance… And all the guys in the back waitin' for the next track… Cut your boy a slack… It's young Jack.”

Jack’s first step in following up his album Jackman., released earlier this year. “Lovin On Me” is our first taste of what Harlow has cooked up and is ready to serve up next. Well… consider our reservation booked.
