Personally, late July marks two big moments in my life. First, in 2013, my radio mentor (and reason I got into the industry to start), Kidd Kraddick passed away. Those that listen to my radio show know that I have been signing off with the phrase "Keep Lookin Up...That's Where It All Is" since I first got on-air in 2006. That was Kidd's outro - and my homage to my inspiration. RIP. The other big moment was knocking off Austin-radio (now national superstar) king Bobby Bones in a vote. Then, my show co-host was Vanessa Macias (aka, wife of Spurs' Tim Duncan). Definitely one of my coolest moments in my radio days.
