Austin MLK Day Celebration: March & Festival

MLK Community March kicks off on Monday 1/15 @ 9a
A short program at the MLK Statue on the University of Texas campus. The march continues to the south steps of the Texas Capitol for a rally. The march will end at the historic Huston-Tillotson University. Parade route
MLK Day Festival @ 11:15a - 3:30p @ Huston-Tillotson University. The celebration includes vendors and local music. Bring can goods or non-perishable food items to donate to the Central Texas Food Bank. More here

4th Annual MLK Day Food Drive and Mobile Pantry
Monday 1/8 - Saturday 1/13 @ St. Elmo Elementary donated items will be taken. Monday 1/5 / 9a-1p / The mobile food pantry starts 10a-12pm or until supplies run out. Prepping for the spring planting and growing season in the St. Elmo Garden space.

710 S. Main St. on Seventh Street. The march starts on the north side of the courthouse, and ends where the program takes place at Macedonia Baptist Church, 206 Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
