Any time there is a total solar eclipse, people from all over the country flock to areas where it can be seen in order to get a glimpse of the cosmic phenomenon. Luckily for Texans, they won’t have to go far to view the eclipse coming in 2024. The total solar Eclipse will be seen over the skies of Central Texas for the first time in over 600 years, and to celebrate there will be a festival at Texas Hill Country’s Reveille Peak Ranch featuring music, art and more.

Texas Eclipse is a celebration of music, art, space and technology that will be held during the first total solar eclipse to be seen over Central Texas since 1397. The eclipse won’t be seen again in the US for over 20 years, and will be one of the longest total solar eclipses near a major metro area in North American history. According to CW33, Texas Eclipse will include DJs, producers, multi-instrumentalist bands, singers and more.

The festival will be held at Texas Hill Country’s Reveille Peak Ranch, which features 1,200 acres of camping ground and 60 miles of trails. “People from all over the Earth will celebrate this cosmic gift of temporary night,” said Texas Eclipse. For any space or music lover, this is an event they won’t want to miss.
