Texans are always quick to tell others why the lone star state is the best. While some may feel this is state pride taking over, plenty of lists have come out in recent years that prove their point. Now, another list naming the best places to live in the United States has been unveiled, and there is plenty of Texas representation on the list; thanks to DFW.
Livability, who previously released lists ranking the best places to work and visit throughout the United States, has unveiled their list of the best places to live in the United States. According to their research, the top choice to come from Texas was Plano at number 17. Following Plano on the list was McKinney at 60 and Richardson at 66. The rankings were determined based on a number of factors, such as; safety, affordability, economic stability, outdoor recreation, accessibility, and community engagement.

According to Dallas Culture Map Madison, Wisconsin took the top spot overall. As for the top city in Texas, Livability said Plano has “everything you need in one city.” Hopefully by next year, a Texas city is topping the list.
