There have been a number of great on-screen love interests in movies and television throughout history, but only a few can convince audiences for multiple generations. On Sunday, MTV honored one of these great duos, awarding Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore the GOAT Dynamic Duo title at the '2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time' show. While accepting the award the two stars discussed working together and teased a fourth collaboration in the near future.
While naming someone the GOAT, or "Greatest of all Time," can be a difficult task, many fans were happy with MTV's decision to award the title of best duo to Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The two have starred in three films together, 'The Wedding Singer,' '50 First Dates,' and 'Blended,' and on Sunday the two teased fans while openly discussing plans to work with each other again. "It's a new decade so we get to make another movie together," said Sandler. Barrymore added, "Right, well let's wait until we find something amazing, we do have 10 years."
While nothing is planned yet, it appears both are ready to get back to work together. Fans will just have to wait and see what that movie will be.
