A band lasting 50 years together is almost unheard of, but Aerosmith somehow is about to hit that milestone. Despite plenty of infighting and drama over the years, the band has remained intact and now has decided to do something special for fans. In honor of their 50th anniversary as a band, Aerosmith will release never before seen concert footage, including one show from Texas.
On Friday, Aerosmith will launch their concert series, ‘50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults,’ featuring five iconic shows throughout their history. First up will be the band’s 1977 performance from The Summit in Houston, Texas. Footage includes cleaned, digitized and remastered for HD shots from the two nights show, according to CW33.

The Texas concert will be streamed on the band’s YouTube channel starting July 29 at 2 p.m. It will only be available for one week before it is taken down and sent back to the vault. For anyone that missed the show back in 1977, this is there chance to finally see what they missed.
