All over North Texas there is artwork depicting the famous faces that come from DFW. Whether it’s an athlete, musician or any other inspiring figure, if they come from Texas, it’s likely someone has made some form of street art honoring them. The latest is a mural that recently went up in Fort Worth of DFW’s own Vanilla Ice.

Local artist Juan Velazquez recently shared photos of his most recent mural of Vanilla Ice that he completed on the side of a garage. According to his now viral post, the mural is located at S Jones St, Fort Worth, TX 76110. While Vanilla Ice often claims Florida as his home, the rapper was born in DFW and even attending school in the metroplex.

Many North Texans were impressed by the new mural, and apparently so was Vanilla Ice. In the comments, Velazquez claimed “he seen it and he said he liked it.” With this piece now done, Velazquez will have to find another local icon to honor next.
