
Batman fans are still months away from seeing the return of the caped crusader to the big screen, but fan anticipation got brought to new heights recently. Not much has been shared about the secretive project, but now fans are getting their first taste of what’s to come. With the official trailer for ‘The Batman’ set to be released over the weekend, director Matt Reeves shared a new image from the film featuring Batman watching over Gotham City.
DC’s Fan Dome event is taking place this weekend, and while there is plenty for fans to be excited about, it’s the Batman trailer that has most buzzing. Adding to the hype, director Matt Reeves decided to share a new image from the film to promote the first official trailer release. “Good Morning, from Gotham City…Can’t wait to show you more at #DCFanDomethis Saturday…” Director Matt Reeves captioned his now viral tweet.

According to NME, ‘The Batman;’ is expected to hit theaters in March of 2022. However, with this new image, and the trailer coming out this weekend, fans can’t hold in their excitement. Hopefully the film lives up to the hype, or George Clooney may have some competition at the bottom of the Batman rankings list.
