Just last week, Blue Bell announced a new flavor was being added to their lineup. However with National Ice Cream Day coming up this week, the Texas-based ice cream company decided to release another new flavor for fans to enjoy. The new flavor being added to their lineup is Oatmeal Cream Pie.
When Blue Bell announced their new strawberry lemonade flavor last week, many fans thought they found their new summer favorite, but now with Oatmeal Cream Pie on shelves the debate has been reopened. The new flavor is an oatmeal flavored ice cream with hints of brown sugar mixed with soft oatmeal cookies and a vanilla icing swirl. According to CW33, the new flavor is available in half gallon and pint sizes while supplies last.
“It is just like eating a homemade oatmeal cream pie, but in ice cream form,” said Jimmy Lawhorn, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell. The new flavor is currently available, but only for a limited time. With these new flavors, keeping that summer body throughout pool season has never been more difficult.
