Fall is right around the corner, which means food brands all over the country are starting to release their pumpkin spice flavored items. However, this year Texas-based Blue Bell decided to bring a different flavor to the season. The ice cream brand recently announced a new Salted Caramel Brownie Ice Cream flavor that will be available for a limited time.
Blue Bell’s latest ice cream flavor features vanilla ice cream with chocolate brownies and a salted caramel swirl. The new flavor is currently available, but will only be on shelf while supplies last. “Ice cream is a favorite dessert throughout the year, no matter what the weather is outside. Our new Salted Caramel Brownie Ice Cream is the perfect flavor to usher in the cooler temperatures,” said Carl Breed, general sales manager for Blue Bell.
According to Click 2 Houston, Blue Bell also unveiled a recipe for a Salted Caramel Brownie Ice Cream Pie that is made with the new flavor. Many Blue Bell fans are already heading to the store to get their first taste of the fall treat. Hopefully this flavor takes over for pumpkin spice for other brands as well.
