Every Texan has a favorite Blue Bell ice cream flavor, but sadly not all of them are available year-round. Luckily for fans of Southern Blackberry Cobbler, the Texas ice cream company recently announced it is heading back to shelves. The flavor is available now, but will only be here for a limited time.
On Thursday, Blue Bell took to social media to announce the return of the summertime favorite, Southern Blackberry Cobbler. "Our cobbler is second to none! Southern Blackberry Cobbler is a creamy ice cream with a luscious blackberry flavor combined with flaky pie crust pieces and a blackberry sauce swirl," the ice cream company described in their post announcing the return. According to Southern Thing, the flavor is only available in the half gallon size.
For many Texas, this announcement was like a holiday. Now, they will be in a race to stock up on the flavor before they go away. Hopefully people can resist licking the tops of containers while still in store.
