Every state has a local food chain they swear is better than the rest. For North Carolina, it’s the fried chicken restaurant, Bojangles. Now, Texans will get to see just how good this cult-favorite fast food chain is, as the first DFW Bojangles location is set to break ground next week.
On February 13, Bojangles will break ground on their first of six DFW locations at 1631 US Highway 380 in Frisco. The move to North Texas was first announced in 2021, with locations set to open in Tarrant, Dallas, Denton and Collin Counties. According to Dallas Culture Map, the Frisco location is expected to open this spring.

Bojangles is known for their biscuits, fried chicken, dirty rice, mac & cheese, Cajun pinto beans, and their "Legendary Iced Tea.” They also serve a chicken sandwich and breakfast options. Soon, DFW will know what all the fuss is about.
