There are many musicians fans wish they could go back in time and see live in concert. Many musicians feel the same way, wishing they could go back and play alongside some of their idols. However, for Queen guitarist Brian May, there is only one person he wants to go back in time and jam with; himself.
Brian May recently shared a video for the reissue of his solo single, ‘Back to the Light,’ where the current version of the guitarist plays alongside a 1992 version of himself. “I feel kind of affectionate looking back. Looking back at me 30 years ago, a young man with no idea of the incredible journey that was still to come,” said May. In the video, May is shown attending a concert before joining himself on stage, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
Fans seemed to enjoy the video, with many commenting they wish they could attend a show like that as well. Since being shared the video has been viewed over 75,000 times. While it isn’t quite time travel, at least Queen fans got a taste of what it might like.
