There are many songs that have the ability to bring people great joy, as listeners can't help but smile and dance when they hear them. While there are many Queen songs that make that list, Brian May recently revealed there's one he wasn't always a fan of. According to the Queen guitarist, he once found the bands song 'Don't Stop Me Now' to be too "flippant" and wasn't a fan of playing it, before eventually coming around.

Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' was a part of the band's 1978 album, 'Jazz,' but was released as a single a year later. However, during that time period AIDS was on the rise, which made Brian may feel the song may be a bit inappropriate. "I found it a little bit too flippant in view of the dangers of AIDS and stuff," said May of the beloved song.

Of course, May eventually came around once he saw the joy the song brought to people, according to Daily Mail. "I had to give in. It's a great song - there's no way around it," said May. Luckily for us, May got over the feelings and the song became many Queen fans' favorite song.
