Bruce Springsteen announces upcoming projects with John Mellencamp and The Killers

Springsteen said the new music will arrive "in a week or so"

Bruce Springsteen is a very busy man these days. As many musicians plan their return to the stage, Springsteen recently announced plans to return to Broadway for another run of his award winning show, ‘Springsteen on Broadway.’ Now, the music icon has announced new music is on the way as well, revealing upcoming collaboration with John Mellencamp and The Killers.

During a recent interview, Bruce Springsteen shared details on what he has been working on recently. “It’s Brandon [Flowers] and I with the band, we have done something that is going to come out soon, in a week or so.
I’ve been staying busy,” said Springsteen. Along with the Killers collaboration, Springsteen revealed he worked on John Mellencamp’s upcoming album as well, according to NME.

“I worked on three songs on John’s album and I spent some time in Indiana with him. I love John a lot. He’s a great songwriter and I have become very close and had a lot of fun with him,” said Springsteen. For fans of the boss, they soon will have plenty of new music to obsess over.
