One of the many reasons Buc-ee’s is so beloved throughout the Lone Star state is the massive size of the Texas-based chain. Buc-ee’s offers large quantities of snacks, toilets and gas pumps. However, apparently some feel more parking spots need to be added so people stop leaving their car at the gas pump. This sparked a recent debate online, with many Texans chiming in on whether cars should be able to park at gas pumps or not.

On Monday, a post went viral in the “Buc-ee’s Lovers” Facebook group, after a woman sparked a debate about parking at gas pumps. “I love Bucees but one thing really gets to me…Stop leaving your car at the gas pumps when you go inside store to shop,” Karen Newman Cauthen posted in the group. This led to many other chiming in with their own thoughts on the subject, as the thread has since increased to over 200 comments and has been shared multiple times.

According to My San Antonio, Cauthen brought up the question after going to Buc-ee's and seeing long gas pump lines and people returning to their cars with "lots of bags." While many agreed with Cauthen, others pointed out the large amount of gas pumps and parking spots Buc-ee’s already has available. Maybe one day Buc-ee’s will open a drive-thru and all these problems will be solved.
