Here in Texas, when it comes to gas stations nothing can out do Buc-ee’s. The travel center known for cheap gas, great food and clean bathrooms is a Texas road trip staple, but apparently the rest of the country is finally starting to see what all the fuss is about as well. A report was released recently naming the best gas stations in America, and Buc-ee’s landed the number two spot on the list.
Payless Power, a Texas-based energy company, recently unveiled the results of their report on America’s favorite gas stations. The study surveyed 1,011 Americans, who were asked about gas station preferences, according to San Antonio Express News. Based on the responses, Buc-ee’s was only topped by Costco on the list of America’s favorite gas stations.
Buc-ee’s received the number two spot thanks to their customer service, as 90% of respondents who selected Buc-ee’s as their favorite said it was due to customer service. "Between cleanliness, price, food quality and customer service, only two stations, Costco and Buc-ee's, made the top five in all four categories," said Payless Power. Soon enough, the rest of the country will catch up on the greatness of Buc-ee’s, and it will easily have the number one spot.
