Every holiday has food that coincides with the celebration. Thanksgiving has turkey, Fourth of July has hot dogs and hamburgers, and Halloween is all about the candy. However, this year a butcher in Wisconsin decided to step things up for the fall holiday. The shop recently introduced a new candy corn stuffed sausage that has since divided the internet.

Jenifer St. Market in Madison, Wisconsin went viral recently after revealing their latest specialty sausage. According to Bro Bible, the “Spook”Toberfest brats are made with beer, brat meat and of course, candy corn. While many were disturbed by the food combination, plenty online pointed out the candy corn likely melts in the cooking process; giving the sausage a sweet flavor.

Still, the special “Franken-weenie” has divided the internet, with some intrigued and some disgusted. This is not the first candy corn food combination to go viral, as many others have attempted to turn the Halloween staple into the perfect holiday dish. Maybe next year the butcher will try making something with a better candy option.
