Back in 2020, the world quickly became obsessed with the wild world of tiger sanctuaries thanks to the Netflix series, ‘Tiger King.’ One of the more compelling aspects of the documentary was the rivalry between Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, and the claims Exotic made about Baskin’s missing husband, Don Lewis, who was declared legally dead in 2002. However, now Baskin is claiming her husband was reportedly found alive in Costa Rica, and fans have plenty of questions.
After watching the first season of ‘Tiger King,’ many fans questioned whether Carole Baskin was involved in the disappearance of her husband. However, during a recent interview, the owner of Big Cats Rescue claimed Homeland Security had found her husband, alive and living in Costa Rica. “They said my husband, Don Lewis, is alive and well in Costa Rica, and yet all of this drama has been made about me having something to do with his disappearance when Homeland Security has known where he is,” said Baskin.

According to the New York Post, the interview was originally recorded in November 2021, but recently resurfaced online sparking fan interest once again. Of course, nothing has been confirmed at this time, as there has been no comment from Lewis or the Department of Homeland Security. At least now Netflix has an angle for a new season of ‘Tiger King.’
