If every time it rained, money fell from the sky instead of water, people would enjoy bad weather days much more. Sadly, usually the only people that get to experience money rain are those who work in adult clubs. However, a group of drivers in Fort Worth recently got to experience this as well, as cash went flying across a busy street, causing traffic as a number of cars pulled over to retrieve the loose money.

On Monday, drivers on N. Beach Street, just blocks south of Highway 183, got the surprise of a lifetime when they started seeing money fall from the sky. As seen in footage captured by a nearby surveillance camera, drivers began pulling over to pick up the money. According to WFAA, the scene was caused when a driver accidentally left a wallet on top of their car, sending the cash flying as he drove off.

The driver was Jesús Betancourt, a construction worker from the area, and he is hoping the money is returned. Betancourt claims the money was given to him by his boss in order to buy material for a current project. Hopefully, some of the money is recovered; however it is more likely those people will be following the “finders’ keepers” rule.
