The Cadbury Bunny is one of the most well-known mascots in the world. However, over the last few years the British multinational confectionery company has thought outside the box, selecting other animals as the Cadbury Bunny. Now, for the fourth year in a row, the company is holding a vote to pick their next mascot, and a house cat from Denton has made the finals.
Of the many animals that were submitted for this year’s Cadbury Bunny contest, local house cat “Will O' Wisp” appears to have what it takes. The 2-year-old rescue cat with an amputated tail is representing Texas well as one of the 10 finalist for the Cadbury Bunny. Going up against the polydactyl cat are dogs, birds and even a bearded dragon from all over the world.

Voting for this year’s Cadbury Bunny ends on March 22, according to NBC DFW. To vote for DFW’s own “Will O' Wisp” click here. If the cat wins it will take home the grand prize of $5,000 and star in the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny Easter commercial. Soon Texas will have another star.
