Over the last few years, quite a few companies have decided to move their headquarters to Texas. Now, yet another large business has reportedly made the decision to move to the Lone Star State. Fortune 500 company, CBRE, is planning to move their headquarters from California to Texas.

CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment, already has a large presence in North Texas, with four offices in the area. The company’s CFO, Leah Stearns, and the Global CEO of Real Estate Investments, Mike Lafitte both are based in Dallas, and CEO Robert Sulentic has previously called Dallas home. Not much is known about the move, but sources suggest CBRE could move into the 27-story tower in uptown being developed by Trammell Crow Company, Sulentic’s former company.

CBRE is currently listed at number 128, on 2020’s Fortune 500 list, and it one of many to recently relocate to Texas, with a number of those coming from California. With their move, CBRE will likely look to have a larger presence in North Texas which is already one of their largest markets.
