Chip and Joanna Gaines may be known worldwide, but nowhere are they more popular than in Texas. While their careers have taken them around the globe, they continue to do projects in their hometown of Waco. Now, the couple has announced the opening date of their latest Waco project, finally launching their long awaited hotel.

Hotel 1928, the boutique property a few blocks from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Market, was first announced in 2019, and was originally supposed to open in 2021. While construction delays pushed the project back, it appears the Waco couple is finally ready to show fans what they’ve been working on. According to Dallas Morning News, the hotel is set to open November 1.

The building, which previously housed county offices, now features three restaurants, 33 rooms and a 6,600-square-foot event space. Room rates for Hotel 1928 will begin at $375 a night, excluding taxes. Soon, Chip and Joanna Gaines will have another venture bringing people to Waco.
