When the Texas Rangers moved into Globe Life Field, many fans wondered what would happen to their old ballpark across the street. Now called Choctaw Stadium, the former home of the Rangers has hosted a number of concerts and events since the team moved out. Now, they have announced another venture, as they have launched a coworking space for businesses inside the stadium.
On Monday, the Texas Rangers and Cordish Companies launched Spark Arlington, a new coworking space inside Choctaw Stadium. 23 businesses have already moved in, though the stadium is still looking for more. According to Fox 4 News, some of the businesses located at Spark Arlington include the XFL and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.

The 30,000-square-foot work space has two-levels and features private offices, suites, work stations and a view of the field at Choctaw Stadium. "The opening of Spark Arlington represents a major step in the growth of collaborative business enterprise in the Entertainment District," said Texas Rangers Managing Partner and Majority Owner Ray Davis. Hopefully the new tenants don’t complain about the stadium not having a roof and move across the street.
