Christmas is only a few days away, but before it is here DFW has some inclement weather to put up with. Over the next two days, an arctic blast is expected to hit the metroplex, bringing cold temperatures and wind to the area. Due to this, one of North Texas’ favorite holiday season traditions will be forced to shut down, as Grand Prairie’s drive-thru Christmas Light park announced they will be closed for the next two nights.

Prairie Lights recently took to social media to warn guests that they will be closed Thursday, December 22 and Friday, December 23 due to weather. “Please remember, General Admission tickets are valid every night through New Year’s Eve. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming guests following the closure,” the popular park said in their post.
