The holiday season usually brings plenty of Christmas themed shows and events to the metroplex, but this year there is one that will definitely be unlike the others. Cirque Du Soleil recently announced they will be bringing their Christmas show to DFW for the first time. Starting in November, ‘Twas the Night Before…’ will be running at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie.
Since 2019, Cirque Du Soleil’s Christmas show, ‘Twas the Night Before…,’ has been traveling around the country, bringing holiday cheer and incredible acrobatics to audiences. Now, the show will be coming to North Texas, with 25 performances running from November 25 to December 11. "The production marks Cirque du Soleil’s first-ever Christmas show and is a flurry of Christmas cheer — rip-roaring fun with hugely lovable characters that will introduce audiences to the magic of Cirque du Soleil,” said a press release announcing the show.

According to Dallas Culture Map, the show includes aerialists, dancers, and skaters, combining acrobatics, athleticism, artistry, and visual effects.
Tickets start at $44 and will go on sale 10 am Friday, August 26. With this show, the 2022 holiday season will definitely be different.
