Whataburger is beloved in Texas, but in many other states the obsession with the fast food chain hasn’t quite caught on yet. That’s why often people debate which is better, Whataburger or In-N-Out, despite the Texas-based chain being a heavy favorite in the Lone Star state. Now, a video has gone viral of a group from another state having the debate, as the University of Southern California girls volleyball team recently argued which fast food chain is better, and there were a surprising number of Whataburger fans on the west coast team as well.
The USC girls’ volleyball team went viral recently after sharing a video of their players deciding between Whataburger and In-N-Out. The video was recorded during a team road trip through the Lone Star state. Luckily, the team has a number of girls from Texas on the squad, so they were able to enjoy their hometown favorite while on the road.
According to Sports Illustrated, Whataburger surprisingly won the contest in the video, with many players pointing out the menu’s variety. While these girls clearly know which is better, for many others the debate lives on. Maybe one day the rest of the world will understand what Texas does.
