Dairy Queen may not have originated in Texas, but it has become a staple on the roads throughout the Lone Star state over the years. Now, to celebrate 75 years in Texas, the fast food chain has decided to give fans a little treat. Customers will get a blast from the past later this month as ice cream cones will only cost 75 cents.
On April 24, DQ restaurants throughout Texas will be serving ice cream cones for 75 cents. Their promotion includes a small cone or a small classic, dipped cone with the iconic chocolate coating. The price not only brings the cone back to a classic price, but is in honor of the 75 years DQ has spent in Texas.

According to CW33, Dairy Queen is also asking fans to share their favorite stories and photos from any DQ restaurant. People can share their DQ memories here. Hopefully they don’t keep this tradition up, because the $4 cone for their 400th anniversary will be very likely disappoint many customers.
