A cancelled flight is stressful for any traveler, but when delays ruin a passenger’s wedding plans it can be downright disastrous. Luckily for one couple traveling through Dallas Love Field Airport over the weekend, bad weather wouldn’t stop them from getting hitched. The couple ended up skipping out on their Las Vegas wedding, instead getting married in the air midflight.
When storms blew through North Texas over the weekend, many flights were cancelled. That didn’t make things easy for Pam and Jeremy Salda, who were connecting from Oklahoma City on their way to Las Vegas to get married. “It just kept getting delayed and getting delayed, and we're starting to get a little nervous. And you know, you look out the window to see if the plane’s made it. And I mean, we're dressed in full wedding attire, so I mean, obviously, we garnered some attention,” said Pam Salda.

Luckily for the couple, a fellow passenger was an ordained minister, so they decided to buy tickets on a later flight, and got the job done while traveling to Las Vegas, according to NBC DFW. The couple was showered with love from fellow passengers, making their wedding day more special than they ever thought. Hopefully the honeymoon plans don’t go off the rails as well.
