Dallas Zoo now offering animal adoptions as Valentine’s Day Gift

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, many are just now starting to think about what they may get their significant other. While plenty of jewelry and sweets will be purchased, this year the Dallas Zoo is offering something a little different for Valentine’s Day. The zoo recently announced they are offering animal adoptions as Valentine’s Day gifts, and the package is full of items any animal lover would want.

From now through Valentine’s Day, the Dallas Zoo will allow guests to adopt one of their animals. According to CW33, the package costs $98 and comes with an eco-friendly plush, customized adoption certificate, educational zoo keeper report, exclusive photo and two general admission tickets to the zoo. The adoptable animals include African lion, African elephant, African penguin, Caribbean flamingo, Nile hippopotamus, reticulated giraffe, Sumatran tiger cub, two-toed sloth, and western lowland gorilla.

There is also an option to digitally adopt an animal, which comes with a customizable certificate, a digital zookeeper report and digital wallpaper. That package is being sold for $35. For that special animal lover in your life, this may just be the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
