Music fans often think about what it would be like if their favorite artists joined together to form a super group, but rarely do those dream lineups feature actors and comedians alongside musicians. However, that's exactly what happened this week when Dave Grohl, Beck and John C. Reilly joined Tenacious D on stage at a fundraiser event. The group performed the Seals & Crofts song 'Summer Breeze' and now the clip of their performance is going viral.
Earlier this week, director Judd Apatow organized a charity event at Largo in Los Angeles for the Victims First organization. Tenacious D performed at the star studded event and even got some help during the show. As seen in the clip that has since gone viral, Dave Grohl, Beck and John C. Reilly hit the stage to perform the cover song alongside the band.
Since being shared the video has received over 280,000 views, according to Bro Bible. It is unknown if the group performed any other songs during the event. Maybe this will lead to a super group the world never knew they needed.
