David Lee Roth fans were shocked over the weekend when the former Van Halen frontman announced his retirement. However, some fans say they saw it coming as they claim Roth let them know his plans in a music video 30 years ago. Fans have been sharing a clip from Roth’s ‘A Lil' Ain't Enough’ video, where a retirement prediction seems to have been made.

The music video for the title track of David Lee Roth’s 1991 album, ‘A Lil' Ain't Enough,’ featured a scene where a futuristic Diamond Dave arrives at a venue with a marquee reading, “Diamond Dave, THE ABSOLUTE FINAL TOUR: SOLD OUT." According to Loudwire, the date of that show was October 10, 2021; Roth's 67th birthday. Roth’s real retirement announcement came just nine days before the predicted announcement.
