This is not encouraging news for anyone preparing upcoming travel arrangements as a new study from Transfeero found that DFW Airport has the most delays of any airport in the nation.
According to CW33, Transfeero used data from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics to find that DFW Airport had 25.42% of its flights delayed this year, followed by Denver International at 23.86%.
Andrea Platania, a travel expert from Transfeero, said, "Airports like Dallas/Fort Worth and Denver are major transit hubs, and any weather disruption there causes widespread issues."
The top ten airports with the most delays include:
1 – DFW Airport 25.42%
2 – Denver International – 23.86%
3 - Ronald Reagan Washington National – 23.29%
4 – Miami International – 23.06%
5 - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International – 22.8%
6 - Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International. - 22.5%
7 - Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall – 22.54%
8 - George Bush Intercontinental/Houston – 21.79%
9 - Orlando International – 21.67%
10 - Charlotte Douglas International – 21.35%
Also, Bergstrom International in Austin came in at No. 11 with 21% of its flights delayed.
