There are some wild cars that have been spotted on DFW roads over the years. While trucks and sedans are the norm, every once in a while a custom car is seen hitting the streets of North Texas, usually drawing plenty of eyeballs on their trip. Now, those drivers will have their chance to immortalize their custom cars by turning it into the next Hot Wheels car.

Next month the Hot Wheels Legends Tour will come to town, giving car builders the chance to turn their custom cars into a Hot Wheels car. The global competition is in its 6th year, and this year the car show will make a stop at the Walmart Supercenter in North Richland Hills, on September 9. According to Focus Daily News, local automotive enthusiasts and members of the Hot Wheels design team will vote on which car at the DFW show will compete in the global semifinals later this year.

Cars will be evaluated based on creativity, authenticity and garage spirit. Along with the cars, the event will also feature activities for fans of all ages. Soon, the next Hot Wheels may be something people can see every day while driving around the metroplex.
