Two DFW business men are about to take a major step forward in growing their brand, and while that can be scary for most, it’s nothing compared to their other job. The founders of Firegrounds Coffee Co. are both veterans of the U.S. military and Dallas firefighters. Now, the brand they started in 2019 is going further than they ever could have imagined, as it will be sold in Walmarts all throughout Texas.

Paul Clark and Kyle Lund agreed to start a coffee brand while working together as Dallas firefighters, but the idea first came to Clark when he was deployed in Iraq. He was frustrated with the subpar coffee that was available to service members, and decided once he was home he would start his own company. Now, that company will have their coffee sold in more than 326 Walmart stores in Texas.

Firegrounds Coffee Co. will hit shelves in late July, according to Fox 4 News. “We believe that love goes into every cup we make here, and we're excited to share our coffee with even more people in Texas,” said Clark. Soon, this DFW coffee brand may be a favorite for many Texans.
