There are many great attractions throughout DFW to entice travelers to come visit the area. Now, a new DFW hotel has been named one of the best new hotels in the world, guaranteeing even more travelers on the way for the Lone Star state. Thompson Dallas recently landed a coveted spot on the Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List for 2021; the annual list naming the best new hotels in the world.
Only one DFW hotel made it onto the exclusive list this year, with Texas landing a total of three spots on the list. Thompson Dallas opened in November of 2020, and has been described as “Mad Men-meets-urban cowboy.” The new hotel is hospitality brand Thompson Hotels’ first foray into Texas, and being named one of the 69 best new hotels in the world is definitely a good start.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List is curated after editors travel around the globe testing hundreds of new hotels. The other two Texas hotels making the list were Austin’s Commodore Perry Estate and Hotel Magdalena. Thanks to Thompson Dallas, DFW has yet another list to brag about.
