Usually when people think of art, the first thing that comes to mind is a painting or a sculpture. However, there are many different forms of art, and people keep coming up with new mediums for artistic expressions. In recent years, many have turned food into art, and the most recent artist to go viral doing so is DFW’s own Ryan Lewin, who has gained a following thanks to his pancake art.
Content Creator Ryan Lewin may have started his career working in kitchens, but these days the food he’s making isn’t always for eating. According to CW33, Lewin has become known for his pancake art, where he uses pancake batter, food coloring, and his imagination to create images. As seen on his social media pages, his art features images of famous characters, celebrities, athletes and more.
While pancake art has been seen before, what makes Lewin different than the others is how fast he is able to create his artwork. Videos show him creating detailed images with just a flip of the spatula. Now, Lewin can officially join the long list of impressive artists from DFW.
