Almost every parent wants what’s best for their kid, and for most that starts with a good education. Luckily, there are some great options all throughout DFW, giving parents plenty to choose from between public and private schools. Now, a new report on the best high schools in Texas for 2023 has named a North Texas school as the best public, and the best private, schools throughout the state.
Niche, a website that combines ratings from students, parents and alumni with quantitative data, recently unveiled their list of the best high schools in the Lone Star state for 2023. With two separate lists for both private and public schools, North Texas was well represented. According to CW33, the School for the Talented & Gifted was named the top public school, while St. Mark’s School of Texas was listed as the top private school in the state.
Also making the cut on the public school top 10 from DFW were the School of Science & Engineering and Carroll Senior High School. For private schools Greenhill School, The Hockaday School and Cistercian Preparatory School all made the list. With these schools, DFW can be assured their kids are getting a good education.
