There are many people who thought by now they’d be traveling around using jet packs. While jet packs do exist, they are only ever seen in viral videos and rarely in person. However, this week at Glastonbury Festival in England, attendees finally got to see this mode of transportation in action, as a local Domino’s was using a jet pack to deliver pizzas to the festival.
While just about every major music festival has some form of viral moment, no one was expecting what came out of Glastonbury Festival this week. Many attendees took to social media after seeing a person flying around on a jet pack. According to Bro Bible, it turns out the person on the jet pack was actually a Domino’s delivery person dropping off pizzas to attendees.
“When we realized pitching up to serve slices inside the festival was impossible, we took inspiration from this year’s headliner to launch our own rapid delivery trial – it was a bit of a no brainer,” said Sam Wilson from Domino’s. In the now viral video, the delivery person can be seen flying from the store’s parking lot, across the countryside and to the festival grounds. Maybe this is proof the world is finally one step closer to using jet packs regularly.
