For years, fans wondered when they would get to see Eddie Murphy back in the spotlight, and since making his comeback the comedian has done whatever he can to remind people why they once fell in love with him.
Coming off a reboot of one of his most iconic films, ‘Coming to America,’ Murphy has decided to bring back another one of his beloved franchises. A recent report revealed Murphy will soon begin filming ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’ and fans couldn’t be more excited.

While the upcoming ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ sequel was first announced back in 2019, there hasn’t been much news about the project since. However, California’s Film & TV tax credit program recently revealed a list of 23 films set to be filmed in the state, including ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4.’ No start date was announced, but the report confirmed fans will be getting the film sooner than expected.

According to MovieWeb, the film will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed ‘Bad Boys for Life,’ and will stream on Netflix when released. Many fans were thrilled to learn Edie Murphy would be returning to the role of Axel Foley. Now it’s just a matter of time before Murphy makes his return to standup.
