For one family in New York, their determination to be that house year after year hit another level in 2021. The Gay family recently broke their own record for most Christmas lights on a private residence with almost 700,000 lights covering their home.
Driving through neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights is a tradition for many this time of year, and for those in upstate New York; they may want to make the trip to the Gay’s home in Lagrangeville. The family makes a large Christmas lights display every year, previously setting the record for most lights on a private residence in 2014 with 601,736 lights. This year, they plan to raise $500,000 for charity thanks to their new record breaking display.
The home has its own website featuring show times, visiting information, and more. While it costs nothing to view the home, the family does ask for donations, according to Bro Bible. Now the question is; how will the family top this next year?
