As more and more shows from the past continue to be rebooted, there's one show fans know they will never get a reunion for; 'Seinfeld.' The show's creator and stars have constantly put down the idea of bringing 'Seinfeld' back in any form. Luckily, one fan decided to take it upon himself to make his own reunion special. However, he chose to make it in the style of 'Twin Peaks' for some reason.
Video editor Dom Nero first came up with the idea for a "prestige TV" style revival of 'Seinfeld' a few years ago, tweeting out a trailer for a reunion that was inspired by Showtime's 'Twin Peaks' reboot. Now, Nero finally completed the project, using clips of the cast to create a new episode set 25 years later.
after watching the new Twin Peaks i have been fantasizing about what a Seinfeld return would look like on Showtime, so i made this pic.twitter.com/Wyofeyp2ZQ

Well, I have to say David Lynch has nothing on this guy. This is kinda brilliant. Twisted, but brilliant. Bravo Dom. https://t.co/4HyrRCwcjh

"I really needed a quarantine project, so I tried to imagine one myself," tweeted Nero. The video quickly went viral and even got praise from cast member Jason Alexander who tweeted, "Well, I have to say David Lynch has nothing on this guy. This is kinda brilliant. Twisted, but brilliant." It may be different, but it's the closest 'Seinfeld' fans will ever get to a reboot.
