U2 has been extremely busy lately, with a new album set to be released next month. Though fans were already full of anticipation, the band decided to give them a little treat on Friday, releasing the first trailer for their upcoming documentary, ‘Bono and the Edge: A Sort of Homecoming with David Letterman.’ The film will stream on Disney + and is set to be released the same day as the album.

On March 17, U2 fans will have to decide between listening to the band’s new album and watching their new documentary. The film, which features former late night host, David Letterman, interviewing Bono and The Edge in Dublin, will include an intimate concert performance. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the film was directed by Morgan Neville.

“Recently, I won a radio contest. Winner gets to visit Dublin with Bono and the Edge,” Letterman joked in a press release. The new album, which will be released the same day, features a collection of 40 re-recorded and re-imagined songs from across the band's catalog. With both these things being released, March 17 will definitely be a special day for U2 fans around the world.
