Some people can’t help but jump into the background of a photo the moment they see someone taking a photo. Apparently some animals feel the same way about photobombing. A police officer in Florida went viral recently after sharing a photo where a smiling alligator photobombed her selfie.

Recently, the Palm Bay Police Department in Florida received a call about an alligator stuck in a local neighborhood sewage drain. When police arrived they saw the alligator with half its body poking out of the drain, and an unfamiliar smile on its face. Luckily, one of the officers saw it as the perfect opportunity for a selfie, and the internet thanks her for it.

“When you’re just trying to take a normal sewer selfie and you get photobombed,” the police department captioned their viral post. According to Fox News, the post also claimed neither the alligator nor the officer was harmed during the incident. Hopefully the alligator didn’t go back to anger once out of the sewage drain.
