Traveling can be extremely stressful, which is why many choose to have a drink at the airport before getting on a plane. Luckily for travelers at Dallas Love Field, yet another bar recently opened up at the airport, and this one has ties to a DFW sports legend. Former Dallas Star, Marty Turco, has ventured into the bar industry, opening Turco 35 at the airport.

Turco 35 is a floating bar inside security at Dallas Love Filed, near Gate 12. The bar serves cocktails, wine and beer, including some from Kingsville Brewery, which Turco owns as well. Along with the airport bar, Turco has also invested in DFW’s Moxies Grill & Bar, according to Dallas Morning News.

As for his new venture, Turco is excited for travelers to come grab a drink as he even plans to revisit Love Field intermittently to surprise fans. “You can’t put your name on something and not be totally all in on it,” said Turco. Next time travelers are passing through Love Field, they may have their drink served to them by an NHL legend.
