Buc-ee’s is one of the many Texas businesses that those in the Lone Star state swear by. Whether it’s the snacks, the gas, or the clean bathrooms, Texans will be the first to claim no gas station, truck stop or travel center even comes close to the quality of Buc-ee’s. Now, the Buc-ee’s location in Fort Worth is giving fans yet another reason to shop there, as they are planning to add a new $6 million car wash.
State records recently unveiled that the Buc-ee’s located along Interstate 35W in far north Fort Worth is planning to build a massive new car wash tunnel on the premises. According to Fort Worth Star-Telegram, it will be only the sixth location in Texas to have a car wash. Construction will begin next year in February and is expected to be completed by August.

The car wash tunnel is expected to be 5,647 square feet. Currently, the largest Buc-ee’s car wash is located in Katy, though some believe the Fort Worth car wash may end up surpassing the size. Soon, DFW will have yet another reason to travel to Buc-ee’s.
