When it comes to music fandom, nothing quite compares to the Elvis Presley fan base. Despite Elvis being dead for over 40 years, his fans continue to honor the King, with many dressing as him any chance they get. Now, a Fort Worth man has won the honor of the greatest Elvis impressionist, winning the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest at Graceland.
Victor Trevino Jr. has been impersonating Elvis Presley for the last 15 years, traveling around the country pretending to be the iconic musician. His career brought him to the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest, where after a series of preliminary contests, he competed against 10 other Elvis impersonators in Memphis, Tennessee. According to Fort Worth Star Telegram, the contest has been held at Graceland since 2007.

“I have to make sure that I give them the best show possible and maybe even the best show they’ve ever seen,” said Trevino. Luckily he did, taking home to top prize of $20,000 and a performance contract. The King may be gone, but Trevino is clearly filling the shoes admirably.
