Fort Worth neighborhood vandalized as 30 cars have their tires slashed

Fort Worth Police are now investigating the incident

A Fort Worth neighborhood took quite a hit this week, as multiple cars were vandalized in one night. 30 cars total had their tires slashed and now police are investigating the incident. Police believe the incident occurred between late Wednesday night and overnight Thursday, though no suspect has been named at this time.

Thursday morning was a tough one for many in the Fort Worth's Sunset Heights neighborhood near Sanguinet Avenue, as multiple people woke up to their car tires slashed. "Our neighbors, practically everyone down our street, their tires have been slashed. I was really upset about it. I mean, I was supposed to be on my way to work. Both of my tires were slashed," said resident Richard Growald.

According to NBC DFW, Fort Worth Police are now investigating, though details remain limited. Police are asking anyone with information, including surveillance video from the area, to contact them. Hopefully the vandal is found soon and no more cars are damaged.
