Over the past few months, there have been several high money lottery prizes that had people all over the country buying tickets in hopes of winning. Sadly none of those prizes ended up going to anyone in Texas, but one Fort Worth residents still managed to claim a massive prize thanks to the Texas Lottery. The winner recently purchased a scratch off ticket that won $20 million.
The Texas Lottery recently announced someone in Fort Worth won the top prize on their $20 Million Supreme game. The scratch off costs $100 and was sold at the Cleburne Food Mart at 3233 Cleburne Road. The winner, who wanted to remain anonymous, will be responsible for about $4.8 million in federal taxes, according to NBC DFW.
Now, the Texas Lottery claims there is only one top prize left in the $20 Million Supreme game. Previous winning tickets were sold in Boerne and La Feria. Maybe the final one is somewhere here in DFW.
